Nov. 17 — We want to bring you all an update on Hope!
This sweet girl has been doing well here at the shelter. She is absolutely affectionate with everyone she meets. We’ve been feeding her frequent small meals, and her condition is improving. She was diagnosed with tapeworms and is being treated for them. We want to thank everyone for the enormous support and well wishes that we have received.
If you would like to donate towards Hope’s care, you can donate by clicking here, by calling us at 904-321-1647, or coming to the shelter directly.

We’d like you to meet Hope, a  terribly emaciated dog who was turned in to us Nov. 14. A Good Samaritan said she was seen being dumped at the Fernandina exit off I-95. She is settling in here, and we have already learned that she is a truly sweet girl. It appears she had puppies recently. If you know any information about her, where she came from or her puppies’ whereabouts, please call us at (904) 321-1647. If you’d like to donate toward her care, please click here. We will update you on her progress. Thank you — we couldn’t do what we do without you.
